SURVIVAL ANALYSIS IN HEALTH SCIENCES USING SPSS SOFTWARE

In this paper we present theoretical basis of the two methods of survival analysis for the prognosis of survival dependent on one or two independent variables during the time period with the use of SPSS software. We describe the main principles of Kaplan-Meier analysis and survival tables for one or several groups. Special emphasis is given to interpretation of the results and practical examples
