PARANEOPLASTIC ARTHROPATHY IN THE PRACTICE OF A RHEUMATOLOGIST. DESCRIPTION OF THE CLINICAL CASE.
Paraneoplastic syndrome is a clinical manifestation of oncological pathology that occurs at a distance from the primary focus and is not a consequence of metastorrhea or swelling germination. The concept of paraneoplastic syndrome covers a large group of diseases, different both in clinical manifestations and in pathogenetic mechanisms. A prerequisite for development is the process of carcinogenesis. At the same time, the manifestations of the paraneoplastic syndrome often precede the first clinical signs of oncological pathology, therefore the rank of their features increases the likelihood of early diagnosis of cancer. This article presents a case of paraneoplastic syndrome in rheumatological practice.
