Background: One of the main causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality around the world is hypertensive disorder during pregnancy. After diagnosis of severe preeclampsia it is necessary of accurate risk assessment and management for both the mother and the fetus at different times. The prognostic model is an alternative basis for clinical practice, for predicting patient's future outcomes and for making decisions to improve them.

According to WHO, the incidence of newborns with intrauterine growth retardation ranges from 31.1% in Central Asia to 6, %% in Europe, from 2.4% to 17% in the CIS. Introduction: the search of methods enabling to predict fetal growth impairment is an important issue for modern obstetrics. Pregnancy-associated plasma protein А (РАРР-А) is considered to be one of the predictors of fetal chromosomal mutations. The associations between reduced РАРР-А levels in first pregnancy trimester and the development of intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is being extensively studied over the last years. The current normal range of РАРР-А in Kazakhstan is considered to be 0,5-2,05.
