The combination of four complications (perforation, bleeding, penetration, stenosis of the pyloric part of the stomach) of
the gastric ulcer make some difficulties in choosing the surgical approach and the appropriate extent of surgical operations.
The use of the active surgical approach in such ulcers helps to reduce the frequency of complications and mortality. We consider the gastric resection as an appropriate operation of choice.
