OBESITY AND HYPERTENSIONAbstract
Obesity is one of frequent causes leading to the development of arterial hypertension among employees of law enforcement agencies. There was a direct connection observed between obesity and the development of arterial hypertension: the
more weight is, the higher is blood pressure. When loosing weight the level of ABP reduces, too. The complex approach to
weight-reducing treatment: weight correction, dieting, taking medicine improving metabolism (siophore) and hypertension
(ACE inhibitors, beta blockers, diuretics, etc.) – provides an opportunity to avoid the development of cardiovascular complications and diabetes mellitus.
