CASE OF CONGENITAL CYSTIC FIBROSIS OF THE NEWBORN CHILD

Abstract

The case of detection of cystic fibrosis in the newborn is considered in this work. Cystic fibrosis – is the severe hereditary
disease, which is based on the damage of exocrine glands and increased viscosity of secrets that lead to the defeat of the
lung, pancreas and intestine, at least - of the liver and kidneys. In most developed countries this disease is included in the
number of hereditary diseases to be neonatal screening. Prognosis remains serious and the mortality rate reaches 50% .
