STUDY OF THE PREVALENCE OF OVERWEIGHT AND ABDOMINAL OBESITY IN PATIENTS WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION DEPENDING ON SEX
Keywords:
abdominal obesityAbstract
The conducted study demonstrated the importance of accounting for indicators assessing signs of overweight and abdominal obesity. Statistically significant differences in BMI and WH ratio (waist-to-hip ratio) between the group of patients with arterial hypertension and healthy individuals, taking into account sex, may indicate the necessity of a differentiated approach to patients with arterial hypertension depending on sex.
