We compared the effectiveness of surgery in 2 groups of patients with chronic dacryocystitis. The first group consisted of
patients operated by the modified endoscopic technique, the second – patients operated by the classical endoscopic sinus
surgery technique. The results were beneficial in the early postoperative period in the first group of patients.
