The paper presents the main characteristics and the most frequent complications of the gastro-intestinal tract during
chemotherapy of malignant tumors - anorexia, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea (sometimes constipation), mucositis. These complications are largely vitiate the status of patients and often serve as a barrier to continuing treatment with the proper intensity, requiring correction.
