EXPERIENCE OF USING SYNTHETIC PROSTHESES IN SURGICAL TREATMENT OF WOMEN WITH STRESS URINARY INCONTINENCE

Abstract

Our observations show that the operation using TVT techniques with the use of mesh can achieve positive results in 93-
96% of operated women.
We performed these operations in 18 women aged 35 to 75 years. Instead of an expensive original prosthesis TVT we
used a surgical mesh “ESFIL”. In the postoperative period was adequate urination (no residual urine, complete continence).
Simple surgical technique, the low number of complications, shorter recovery period proves that these operations are the
preferred method in surgical treatment of females with stress urinary incontinence.
