Abstract

The purpose of social work in public health services, as well as the purpose of medical-social work, is achievement of
higher level of health, functioning and adaptation of persons with a physical and mental pathology, and also social trouble for
what it is necessary to provide uniform methodical approaches in the given kind of activity and to consider specificity of concrete area of medicine and public health services.
