THE STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS MEDICINE IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN
Introduction: The current development of sports and physical culture are inseparable from sports medicine and medical support and are an important part of the competitive and training process. The article is devoted to actual issues of sports medicine and medical support in professional and mass sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Objective: To analyze the legislative acts and scientific literature regulating the activities of sport physicians and medical care.
Search strategy: To achieve the goal, an analysis of relevant literature sources, as well as regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan was carried out. To compile this review, a comprehensive search of publications in electronic databases was carried out. We used the following databases and search engines: Pubmed, Google Scholar, eLIBRARY, Cyberleninka. The search for legal acts was carried out in the information and legal reference systems "IPS Adilet", "rcrz.kz", "legalacts.egov.kz"
Results: This review showed that in the conditions of the modern world sports medicine is a separate area of medical science and practice, which is responsible for the medical and biological support of the athletes and requires a wide range of knowledge from the doctor. The lack of licensing of fitness clubs and centers, also the lack of professional standards for providing services, as well as absence of proper medical supervision carry risks for consumers.
Conclusion: The practical significance of the article is the possibility of using the conclusions and proposals to improve the legislation in the field of sports. The results of the study can be used in developing of legal acts of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to improve the work of state bodies in the field of sport medicine.
