PRENOSOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS AND PREVENTION OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE IN PEOPLE EXPOSED TO RADIATION, BASED ON THE STUDY OF GENE POLYMORPHISM
The paper presents the principles of prenosological diagnosis for socially significant cardiovascular diseases by identifying of polymorphisms in the candidate genes that determine blood pressure levels, metabolism of homocysteineand lipids. The study allowed establish a high correlation between heterozygous violations of the candidate gene AGT, which implies a high degree of inheritance of vascular pathology of radiation-exposed parents to their offspring. The research results indicate the necessary for improving of long-term monitoring, including screening and treatment for primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular events among persons who are descendants of population exposed to radiation.
