ANALYSIS OF THE EQUIPMENT OF DENTAL INSTITUTIONS OF THE CITY OF SEMEY ACCORDING TO A SURVEY OF DENTISTS
Relevance. The provision of dental care is one of the urgent problems and areas of need in medical care. First of all, this is due to the increase in the incidence of dental patients. One of the good reasons, which is the inadequate dental equipment, due to the effectiveness of the quality of treatment does not meet the standards. Regardless of the type of clinic, public, private or rural, it must have basic equipment. It is extremely necessary for the correct diagnosis and choice of treatment. To implement the above achievements, it is necessary to have an X-ray apparatus for clinical and radiological diagnostics, optical magnification for a clearer field of view, isolation of the working field with a rubber dam for safety and comfort of the working process, an apex locator and an endomotor - devices for measuring the working length of the root canal with its further processing. AIm: Analysis of the level of equipment of dental institutions in Semey according to a survey of dentists Materials and methods. Study design: cross-sectional. A sociological survey (questionnaire) of dentists in Semey was conducted. The OpenEpi program was used to determine the sample size of dental clinics for the study. Statistical calculations were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 software. Results. An analysis of the level of equipment with dental equipment, dental institutions in the city of Semey, providing services under the MSHI program, showed a low level of basic equipment. Only X-ray equipment for dental imaging was available, which was included in the list of free services. In private clinics in the city of Semey, the availability of basic equipment (X-ray equipment, optical magnification, rubber dam, apex locator, endomotor) showed an average value of 64%, which indicates an insufficient level of equipment in these clinics. In a comparative analysis, the highest indicators were in the category "an appxlocator" - 100% and the lowest indicator was in the category "a microscope" – 2,2%. Conclusion. An insufficient level of equipment with dental equipment was revealed, both in private dental institutions and clinics providing dental services under the MSHI program. According to the data received, clinics need to purchase a rubber dam, an optical zoom, an endomotor, as well as an increase in the number of x-ray equipment, an apex locator, since the equipment of dental institutions should ideally exceed 90%.
