THE FREQUENCY OF PHENOTYPIC TRAITS AT PROLAPSE OF THE MITRAL VALVE IN CHILDREN
The goal of this work was to study the frequency of phenotypic features of connective tissue dysplasia, characteristic for prolapse of the mitral valve in children. Complex clinical and instrumental study was carried out at 42 children with prolapse of the mitral valve and 38 without it. Expression of connective tissue dysplasia was observed in 45,2% of children with prolapsed of the mitral valve, which evidence about generalized nature of dysplasia.
