COMPETENCE-BASED LEARNING - A PROCESS OF ENHANCING THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIALISTS IN HIGHER MEDICAL SCHOOL
Development of the issues of optimization of educational process in the departments is carried out in different directions. One of them is the introduction of competence-based learning, allowing to improve the quality of training of students. Compe-tence is an integral property of the individual that characterizes his desire and ability to realize their potential (knowledge, skills, experience, personal qualities, etc.) to be successful in a particular area. The general objectives of competence – based learning are: improving the quality of training of future professionals, using of innovative modern pedagogical technologies, to make education a continuous, person-oriented, competence-oriented, modular, flexible and productive.
