In patients with diagnosed rheumatic disease undergoing hormonal therapy, it can be regarded as an exacerbation of the underlying disease, and not as a symptom of secondary osteoporosis. The article presents a clinical case of a patient with mixed connective tissue disease (systemic lupus erythematosus + juvenile idiopathic arthritis), who was referred for hospitalization due to deterioration of health in the form of severe arthralgia and myalgia against the background of glucocorticoid therapy.
