Background. One of the key principles of rational use of antibiotics is high quality and reasonable assessment of their consumption. In this paper we used data on medicines purchased by a Single distributor within the guaranteed volume of free medical care for the period 2012 – 2016 гг, submitted by the Committee of Pharmacy of the Health Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (CP HM RK).

UNIVARIATE REGRESSION ANALYSIS USING STATISTICA AND SPSS SOFTWARE
In this paper we present basic concepts of simple linear regression analysis using Statistica and SPSS software. Special emphasis is given to interpretation of the outputs provided by software packages. The article provides general knowledge and practical advices regarding the use of simpla logistic regression in biomedical studies, but it does not substitute specialized literature on biostatistics.
