Safety of food is part of nation-wide policy in the sphere of preservation and harmonious development of the nation. Repre-sentative department in the sphere of safety of products is departments of the public sanitary and epidemiologic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main responsibility for quality and safety of food lies on producers, processors and offtakers of food products.

RESULTS OF SCREENING OF A CHILD POPULATION IN THE AREA ADJACENT TO THE TERRITORY OF THE EX-NUCLEAR TEST SITE
Urinary system organs which have compound embryogenesis are very sensitive to influences to the external unfavorable factors. These fact is in that, approximately 10-14% of children born with different urinary system anomalies, and this index have a tendency to rise. There was examined child population in the area adjacent to the territory of the ex-nuclear test site for re-searches the incidence of microbial and inflammatory diseases and malformations of the urinary system development.

По результатам дозорного эпидемиологического надзора среди потребителей инъекционных наркотиков в Экибастузском регионе за 2007-2011 гг. ВИЧ инфекция находится на начальной стадии. Распространенность ВИЧ-инфекции в группе инъекционных потребителей наркотиков составила 0%, ВГС - 73,5%.

Introduction: The article presents atherosclerosis theory and modern views on the role of inflammation in atherogenesis. We reviewed national and international literature on inflammatory theory of atherosclerosis, the role of cytokines in the development of atherosclerosis, the interaction of the lipid and inflammatory theory of atherogenesis, the formation of atherosclerotic plaque.
