Introduction: Cardiopulmonary arrest is on of the most important causes requiring first aid in big metropolis. In this paper we present basic concepts of simple linear regression analysis using Statistica and SPSS software. Special emphasis is given to interpretation of the outputs provided by software packages. The article provides general knowledge and practical advices regarding the use of simpla logistic regression in biomedical studies, but it does not substitute specialized literature on biostatistics.
