COMPARATIVE ESTIMATION OF MORBIDITY RATE AND DEGREE OF SKIN LESIONS DURING HYPOFRACTIONATED AND TRADITIONAL RADIOTHERAPY OF BREAST CANCER
Background: Radiation therapy is a necessary step for the integrated treatment of breast cancer. The traditional scheme of treatment is the use of 2 Gray in 25 fractions to the total focal dose of 50 Gy. However, like any other treatment method, radiation therapy provides a variety of side effects on normal tissue in the irradiated field. To solve this problem it is necessary to develop suitable treatment regimens to achieve better local control with minimal risk on the normal tissues.

В настоящей работе представлены общие сведения о выполнении статистического анализа данных, описываемых номинальными и ранговыми переменными, с использованием программного обеспечения Statistica 10 и SPSS 20. Рассматриваются критерии хи-квадрат Пирсона, поправка Йейтса, точный критерий Фишера, а также батарея статистических критериев для анализа ранговых переменных. Настоящая статья призвана дать общие сведения об анализе качественных данных, и не заменяет прочтения специализированной литературы по статистике и клинической эпидемиологии

CORRELATION ANALYSIS OF DATA USING STATISTICA AND SPSS SOFTWARE
In this paper we present the main principles of correlation analysis using parametric and non-parametric methods. Algorithms for calculations of Pearson’s, Spearmen’s and Kendall’s coefficients using Statistica 10 and SPSS 20 software are presented. Special emphasis is given to interpretation of results of statistical analysis. The article complements, but does not substitute specialized literature on biostatistics and clinical epidemiology.

PAIN AND INCREASED MUSCLE TONE AFTER A STROKE AS REDUCTION FACTORS FOR REHABILITATION POTENTIAL. A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO THE MANAGEMENT OF PATIENTS
The features of multidisciplinary management of stroke patients with pain and increased muscular tone are revealed. The reasons, risk factors, diagnostics and therapy of pain syndromes are discussed. The characteristic of main types of a muscular spasticity of stroke patients and the purposes of rehabilitation at each of them is provided. Physical and medicine methods of rehabilitation and features of various techniques of physiotherapy, such as proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and Bobath concept are discussed in details.
