Көрсетілген ПЦР арқылы тексеру нәтижелері адамның папиллома вирусының 16/18 түрін зерттелген аурулардың 10% -де анықталатынын дәлелдейді. Авторлардың пікірі бойынша ПЦР анализы ПВИ диагностикалауда скрининг ретінде пайдалану қажет, өйткені оның көмегімен қысқа мерзімде адамдардың үлкен топтағы тексеру нәтижелерін алуға болады.
